DCIM repatriates 114 Egyptians
The Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM), Libya, has repatriated 114 Egyptian migrants.
According to an update provided by Migrant Rescue Watch, some of the migrants were repatriated on health grounds.
The update reads: “DCIM repatriated from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center 114 #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed border crossing. In separate procedure 18 #migrants of different nationalities were transferred to Qanfoudah IDC in Benghazi for repatriation.
“Among the repatriated #migrants there were 47 medical cases (Hepatitis and HIV).”
Migrant Rescue Watch also said that the DCIM in implementation of security measures “deployed joint patrols with police and military in Tobruk in order to combat criminality and maintain public security in the city.”
