Libya repatriates over 150 Nigeriens, Police raid criminals’ hideout, free victims

Libyan authorities have repatriated over 150 Nigeriens from Tripoli.

The exercise was carried out by the Department for Combating Illegal Migration, DCIM.

The repatriation, according to Migrant Rescue Watch was carried out by the DCIM from Tripoli on two separate VHR flights.

It said over 150 migrants of 🇳🇪 Nigerien nationality were returned .

“All #migrants returned to their home country with IOM support.”

In another development, Migrant Rescue Watch said the Police in Sabha have carried out raid on a compound used by criminals for prostitution and illicit drug trade. “During operation, police was able to free a number of undocumented #migrants including females who were being held captive and forced into prostitution.

“All freed #migrants were transferred to CID for completion of legal procedures and repatriation.”
