Seven people lost their lives and 1 person is missing after another #pushback in the #Aegean, a statement by Alarm Phone says.

It said “Turkish authorities told us they found a group which matches this one on Kara Ada island today, relatives confirmed this. They had been in life rafts which crashed on the rocks.”

This group, according to AlarmPhone had been on “#Inousses island yesterday, yet #Greek authorities repeatedly claimed they did not have any information about them.

“After being alerted to their distress, it appears the @HCoastGuard forced them into life rafts and pushed them back to #Turkish waters.”

Last month, the statement said ” @BBCnews reported on the murderous actions of the @HCoastGuard. Once again, they have blood on their hands. How many must die before they face any penalties?
The #EU may endorse their endless violence but we will never forget & never forgive.”

Alarm Phone had yesterday posted that “A group of 27 people landed on the small island of #Inousses, next to #Chios. The last information was that local police arrived on scene. Since then we cannot reach them anymore. Local authorities claim to have no information about the group. Where are they?”
