DCIM repatriates 12,515 from Tobruk, Qanfoudah, Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar in six months
A total of 12, 515 migrants have been repatriated by the Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM),Libya in the first half of this year.
The repatriations, according to Migrant Rescue Watch were carried out from Tobruk, Qanfoudah, and Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar Immigration Centres.
A series of tweets by Migrant Rescue Watch on the repatriations read:
“DCIM in the first 6 months of 2024 repatriated from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center a total of 7,755 #migrants of different nationalities including 241 medical cases.
” DCIM in the first 6 months of 2024 repatriated from Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center in Benghazi a total of 4,375 #migrants of different nationalities.
“DCIM Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar Branch (incl. Al-Bayda, Al-Sahel, and Shahat) repatriated in the first 6 months of 2024 a total of 385 #migrants of different nationalities.”
