Eighty migrants including women of Chadian, Sudanese nationalities for repatriation

Eighty migrants, including women of Chadian and Sudanese nationalities have been transferred to Kufra Immigration Detention and Deportation Center for repatriation.

Migrant Rescue Watch said they were transferred by the Department for Combating Illegal Migration, DCIM, Libya.

A statement by Migrant Rescue Watch on the planned repatriation said: “DCIM transferred from Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center in Benghazi to Kufra Immigration Detention and Deportation Center 80 #migrants including women of Chadian and Sudanese nationalities for repatriation.”

Another statement by Migrant Rescue Watch said Patrols of Western Region Support Forces thwarted in Zuwara an attempted boat crossing and apprehended 16 #migrants of Arab and African nationalities.
“All transferred to WRSF HQ in Zuwara pending DCIM notification.”

In a related development, Migrant Rescue Watch said Tunisian National Guard patrol thwarted in the central maritime region an attempted illegal crossing of maritime border.

“During intervention officers were attacked by #migrants with solid objects (stones) and threaten with the use of white weapons and Molotov cocktails. All #migrants were returned to shore.”
