Tunisia has been accused of pushing migrants across the Libyan border.

The accusation was made by the National Center for Human Rights in Libya, according to a statement by Migrant Rescue Watch.

The statement said: “The National Center for Human Rights in Libya in recent report accused Tunisia of continuously pushing #migrants across the Libyan border with full complicity of Libyan Border Guard (MoI) in Al-Assah Sector.

“It is believed that #migrants are handed over to human smugglers in Libya for further exploitation. “The National Center for Human Rights accuses Tunisia of pushing #migrants towards the Libyan border.

The Migrant Rescue Watch in another post said “Coast Security patrols interdicted off the coast of Sabratha a wooden boat with ca. 60 #migrants of mainly sub-Saharan nationalities. All transferred to Zawiya for disembarkation.”
