Two migrants’ bodies recovered in Zliten, Tripoli Port

Bodies of two unidentified migrants have been recovered by the Libyan authorities in Zliten and Tripoli Port.

The recovery took place on two different occasions.

Providing information about the first recovered body, Migrant Rescue Watch on its X handle said: “Libyan Coast Security recovered 1 unidentified body of #migrant washed ashore in Zliten. The body was transferred to Zliten Teaching Hospital for completion of legal procedures.”

On the second, it said: “Libyan Coast Security PV “Wadi Mejenin” recovered unidentified body of #migrant found floating in Tripoli Port. The body was transferred to morgue in Tripoli for completion of procedures.”
