Undocumented Egyptians arrested for killing Libyan
Two undocumented Egyptians have been arrested for murder.
According to Migrant Rescue Watch, the suspects were apprehended for killing a Libyan.
A statement by Migrant Rescue Watch regarding the incident reads: “CID in Brak arrested two undocumented #migrants of Egyptian nationality (‘A.S.C.’ born in Egypt 2006 and ‘A.S.C.’ born in Egypt 1995) responsible for murder of a Libya national. The victim known to the perpetrators was stabbed multiple times in his vehicle.”
The accused, it said admitted the charges and were transferred to penitentiary in Sabha pending legal action.
In another development, another statement by Migrant Rescue Watch says: “Police jointly with Ambulance and Emergency Service recovered 2 unidentified bodies of #migrants found on the beach in Ghanima area. The bodies were transferred to Al-Khums Teaching Hospital for completion of procedures.”
