Three human smugglers of Egyptian nationality arrested
Three human smugglers of Egyptian nationality have been arrested .
A statement by Migrant Rescue Watch said: “Police jointly with Guardia di Finanza arrested 3 human smugglers of Egyptian nationality following disembarkation of 109 #migrants in Pozzallo.
“The 3 individuals attempted to blend in with others but were identified and taken into custody by the investigators.
“Since the beginning of 2023 police arrested and brought to justice 24 human smugglers for aiding and abetting illegal immigration.”
