World leaders have shared their messages of love and peace as Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ today, December 25, 2023,

Liverpool striker ,Mo Salah in his message asked the world not to forget children in war ravaged Gaza. He said: “Christmas is a time when families get together and celebrate. With the brutal war going on in the Middle East, especially the death and destruction in Gaza, this year we get to Christmas with very heavy hearts and we share the pain of those families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones. Please do not forget them and do not get used to their suffering. Merry Christmas.”

President of the EU Commission: Usular von der Leyen, said:
“It has been another momentous year.
In a world shaken by conflicts, let us keep making our Union stronger, and safer, for all Europeans.

“And for now, let us reflect, recharge and cherish time with loved ones.I wish you all a Merry Christmas.”

UN Secretary General António Guterres: #Christmas is a moment for compassion & reflection.

All of us can draw inspiration from this season, and bring more empathy & solidarity into the world.
