Italian Police arrest Egyptian for irregular re-entry
A 21-year old Egyptian has been arrested by the Italian Police for irregular re-entry.
This is as Libya Rescue Watch reports of the arrest of another 18 undocumented migrants of Egyptian nationality by the Department for Combating illegal Migration (DCIM).
According to the Libya Rescue Watch “Italian Police in Crotone arrested a 21-year-old Egyptian national for irregular re-entry into the national territory. The individual was deported from Italy in July,returned to Egypt only to re-enter #Libya illegally again for another boat crossing and was picked-up by German NGO #Humanity1 ship.
“DCIM patrols apprehended 18 undocumented #migrants of Egyptian nationality who entered the country illegally with the help of smugglers. The group was caught in the area of Ain Al-Ghazala Gate.Upon completion of procedures in Al-Tamimi Bureau all were transferred to Emsaed for deportation.
The DCIM with support of Bangladesh Embassy and IOM also repatriated from Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center in Benghazi 145 #migrants of Bangladeshi nationality via Benina Int. Airport.
