Ten Egyptians repatriated, Sudanese migrant caught for robbery

Ten undocumented Egyptian migrants in Libya have been repatriated by the Department for Combating Illegal Migration ( DCIM).

This is as the police in Zallah have arrested a Sudanese bearing arms for armed robbery.

“DCIM repatriated from Shahat Immigration Detention Center 10 undocumented #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing. All cases of illegal entry,”Migrant Rescue Watch said.

The organization also shared information that Zallah Police Dept. (Al-Jufra) “arrested a Sudanese #migrant “O.A.A.” responsible for armed robbery with assault weapon (Kalashnikov AK-47) and a car-jacking. The accused remains in custody pending referral to public prosecutor.”

Meanwhile the Libyan Coast Security staff, according to Migrant Rescue Watch commenced training in the fields of search & rescue, enforcing international human rights agreements and combating infiltration and smuggling. “The course is being held at the Scuola Nautica GdF in Italy.”
