Human trafficking infringes upon individual’s rights- NAPTIP
The National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, has described human trafficking as a crime that infringes upon this inherent rights of people.
NAPTIP said this as part of its continuous awareness campaign on human trafficking.
The agency said: “Every person, regardless of their background, deserves the freedom to live a life free from exploitation & coercion.
“Human trafficking is a crime that infringes upon this inherent right, depriving countless individuals of their liberty.
“In acknowledging this, we must recognize the collective responsibility we share in ensuring that freedom is not a privilege bestowed upon a fortunate few, but a universal entitlement for all.
So, let us not merely cherish our own freedom but extend the same to others.Take action today!
