IOM, DCIM repatriate 16 Nigerians detained in Benghazi

16 migrants including women of  Nigerian nationality have been repatriated to the country. 

According to Migrant Rescue Watch the migrants were returned by  

 DCIM with support of  IOM. They were kept  in  Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center in Benghazi until their repatriation.  “The group returned to Nigeria via Benina International Airport, “Migrant Rescue Watch said. 

IOM in a report says 19,452 Nigerians have been assisted to voluntarily return home between April 2017 and February 2022 by the organization.
