Sea- Watch International, an organization that rescues lives on the Mediterranean sea has raised the alarm over the plight of 25 distressed migrants on the sea.

The  organization alleged that the  EU is doing everything to ensure that people are NOT rescued.

A post by the organization on the predicament of the distressed migrants  reads: ” The merchant ship MERV MARSEILLE @MAERSK was originally on its way to the boat but was ordered by Malta to move on.

People are drowning & the EU not only does not rescue but actively prevents it.

“Meanwhile, 2 other merchant ships were close to the boat in distress and then ordered to move on by the so-called rescue coordination centre Malta.

The EU is doing everything to ensure that people are NOT rescued.

The boat is still in distress.”
