Amera International launches project to monitor removals from UK

Amera International- Rights In Exile has expressed concerns about people being removed on a regular basis by the UK government without information about the exercise. To track this, the organisation has launched a project to monitor removals from the UK.

Speaking about the project Amera International said: “UK immigration law and policy needs to be informed by the lives of people it impacts! The UK removes thousands of people every year, and plans to remove even more. But there is a staggering lack of info on who is being removed and what happens to them.”

Calling on concerned people to join its efforts, Amera International said: “Help us monitor removals!
AMERA International has launched a project in the UK as part of its Deportation Monitoring Network. The UK Deportations and Removals Monitor aims to fill the current information gap with a view to building an evidence base that can be used for advocacy and litigation.”
