Sea Watch International mourns 19 people who died in Sfax

Sea Watch International has mourned the  19 out of 56 people who died in Sfax, Tunisia.

Alarm Phone announced the death of the people earlier. It noted that only  16 of the people survived with the whereabouts of  others, numbering over 20 still unknown.

Lamenting their demise, Sea Watch International said: “We mourn the deceased and our thoughts are with their family and friends. This is the result of the EU’s deterrence regime and we demand an immediate end to the deadly EU-Tunisia cooperation, designed to abuse people on the move.”
