Nigerians, Bangladeshis, Egyptians repatriated by Libya

The Libyan authorities have repatriated a migrants of Nigerian, Bangladeshi and Egyptian nationalities.

While no specific figure was given for repatriated Nigerians, Migrant Rescue Watch put the number of Banglashi migrants at 110 and Egyptians 30.

“DCIM repatriated from East Tripoli Immigration Detention Center in Tajoura a group of Nigerian #migrants via Mitiga Int. Airport in Tripoli. The group included judicial deportation orders only,” Migrant Rescue Watch said, adding that the  DCIM transferred from Derna IDC to Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center in Benghazi 110 #migrants of Bangladeshi nationality for repatriation. The individuals were apprehended by Coast Guard during attempted illegal boat crossings.”

It added that the  DCIM repatriated from East Tripoli Immigration Detention Center in Tajoura 30 #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Mitiga Int. Airport in Tripoli.
