Egyptian migrants repatriated as Libya pencils  Bangladeshis, Eritreans, Ethiopians, Guineans, Nigerians, others  for repatriation

The Libyan authorities  have repatriated  Egyptian migrants on the list of 123 people to be sent home. Bangladeshis, Eritreans, Ethiopians, Guineans, Nigerians, Somalians, and Yemenis migrants have been penciled  for repatriation by the authorities.

According to information released by Migrant Rescue Watch, the “DCIM repatriated/transferred for repatriation from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center a total of 123 #migrants. 1st group of Egyptian nationality was repatriated via Emsaed land border crossing.

“2nd group of #migrants was transferred to Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center in Benghazi for repatriation. Nationalities: Bangladesh, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guinea, Nigeria, Somalia and Yemen.”

In separate updates, Migrant Rescue Watch said the Counter-Terrorism and Extremist Agency arrested in Misrata 6 undocumented #migrants of sub-Saharan nationalities on charges of forming a criminal gang and drug trafficking. It noted that they have all  been referred to competent authorities for legal action, adding that the “Counter-Security Threats Agency jointly with DCIM arrested in Zuwara two undocumented #migrant females of Sudanese nationality on charges of drug trafficking. “
