SOS Humanity announces vacancy for Crewing & Recruiting Manager position
SOS Humanity has called on interested candidate to apply for the position of Crewing & Recruiting Manager.
About the work at SOS Humanity
A team of around thirty full-time and part-time employees, including interns, working students and volunteers, work at our office in the heart of Berlin. We are all passionate about search and rescue and firmly believe that protecting human lives is a humanitarian duty.
That’s why our teams in the areas of communication, advocacy & mobilisation, fundraising, ship operations and administration work tirelessly to ensure that our rescue ship “Humanity 1” can sail regularly in the central Mediterranean. We want to give survivors a voice, raise public awareness of their plight and educate people about the humanitarian plight of refugees in order to help improve the situation in the Mediterranean in the long term.
Our flat hierarchies offer all team members plenty of room for initiative, so that independent work is the order of the day at SOS Humanity. We offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home. Our large offices are centrally located in Kreuzberg’s Graefekiez neighbourhood.
All employees have access to an annual training budget and a travel allowance.
Diversity and communicative exchange are very important to us, because every employee enriches SOS Humanity with different experiences and skills. For this reason, we have a wide range of age and professional groups represented.
Because the topics of our work can sometimes be stressful, it is important to us to listen to each other and create a collegial atmosphere that encourages and motivates us. We pursue this goal with joint team events and regular professional supervision.
We look forward to receiving your application!
