Libyan Red Crescent West Zawiya, Sabratha, Al-Khums branches recover immigrants’ bodies

Libyan Red Crescent in West Zawiya, Sabratha, and Al-Khums branches have  recovered  bodies of immigrants from different locations and in different operations.

According to Migrant Rescue Watch, the Libyan Red Crescent (West Zawiya Office) recovered 1 unidentified body of #migrant washed ashore in Al-Mutrad. The body was transferred to local authorities for completion of legal procedures.

Migrant Rescue Watch said the Libyan Red Crescent (Sabratha Branch) jointly with Emergency and Ambulance Service,  recovered 1 unidentified body of #migrant washed ashore in Sabratha. The body was transferred to local authorities for completion of legal procedures.

 In another operation, the “Libyan Red Crescent (Sabratha Branch) jointly with Counter Security Threats Agency recovered 1 unidentified body of #migrant sighted off the coast of Sorman. The body was transferred to local authorities for completion of necessary legal procedures.

“ Libyan Red Crescent (Al-Khums Branch) recovered 1 unidentified body of #migrant washed ashore in Qasr Al-Akhyar area. The body was transferred to local authorities for completion of necessary legal procedures.”

On October 30, Migrant Rescue Watch announced that the  Libyan Red Crescent in cooperation with Counter Security Threats Agency recovered 2 #migrant bodies at the site of the capsized boat and 1 in Sabratha (Wadi area). The bodies were transferred to morgue by Ambulance and Emergency Services.
