The Greek coast guard has been accused of stripping two children naked and  left them alone in a life raft outside Lesvos.

Aegean Boat Report made the allegation in a post on X.

The post reads: “Two children stripped naked by the Greek coast guard and left drifting alone in a life raft outside Lesvos, the cruelty seems to have no end.

On June 6, at 03.30, the Turkish coast guard found and rescued two Afghan boys, age 12 and 14, from a life raft drifting off the coast of Ayvalik, Turkey.

“The two boys had been stripped naked, thrown into a life raft, and abandoned at sea in the dark by the Greek coast guard.”

When you think you have seen it all, Aegean Boat Report said something comes along and just blows your mind, “it takes a special kind of twisted sick mind to do such a thing towards anyone, and especially towards children.

There is no question that this is the handy work of the Greek coast guard, but to strip two children, why in gods name would anyone do that, I’m just lost for words.”

The organization expressed concerns that the situation in the Aegean Sea has reached a point where there is no limit to what the Greek coast guard are capable of. “I have seen a lot of cruel and inhumane behaviour from Greek authorities over the years, but this is a new low.”
