90 people in distress in the Central Med

Ninety people are in distress in the Central Med, Alarm Phone has announced.

Alarm Phone made the revelation in two separate posts on its X handle.

In the first post, Alarm Phone said: “SOS~40 people adrift in the Central Med! We alerted authorities to a group in distress who escaped from #Libya. They say they are out of fuel and adrift. Merchant vessel BUFFALO is close and could rescue the group, the people are asking for help!”

Alarm Phone had earlier announced that “SOS ~50 people in distress in the Central Med!

Alarm Phone alerted authorities to a group who escaped from #Libya & is now stuck on a yet unidentified oil platform. Rome doesn’t share any info, Libyan authorities are not reachable at all. A search & rescue operation is needed now!
