Twenty three people travelling from Algeria to Spain still missing – Alarm Phone
Twenty three people who recently left from Algeria and heading to Spain are still missing.
Alarm Phone disclosed this while condemning European border regime allegedly responsible for loss of lives and disappearances of migrants especially in the Mediterranean.
“Where are they? 23 people missing in the #WesterMed!,” Alarm Phone rhetorically asked in the heading of a post it made on its X handle.
“We were alerted to a boat that left almost a week ago from #Algeria heading towards #Spain. Since then, we have no news from them. Authorities are alerted. We still hope they will be found alive! The families of the 23 people are still without news of their loved ones who remain missing,” Alarm Phone said.
Alarm Phone went on to condemn the murderous “#EUropean border regime that is responsible for the disappearances at sea. All our thoughts and solidarity are with the families stuck in this limbo.
“A month after they left from #Algeria, this group remains missing. Relatives are without news from their loved ones and very worried. We fear another invisible #shipwreck.”
