Timeline of repatriations carried out by DCIM between December 11 and 21

The Department for Combating illegal Migration (DCIM) IN Libya has within 10 days, December 11 to 21 2024 repatriated large number of migrants of different nationalities, according to information provided by Migrant Rescue Watch. Below is the time of the repatriations:

21.12.24 – DCIM repatriated from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center 8 #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing. The group included 7 medical cases. #

19.12.24 – DCIM repatriated from Tripoli another batch of #migrants of Egyptian nationality. The group will return to Egypt overland via Emsaed border crossing.

18.12.24 – Sabratha Security Directorate transferred to DCIM custody in Tripoli a group of undocumented #migrants of Arab nationalities who were apprehended for an attempted illegal immigration to EU.

18.12.24 – DCIM (Southern Region) repatriated with IOM support from Brak Al-Shati Immigration Detention Center 147 #migrants of Somali nationality via Sabha International Airport.

17.12.24 – DCIM (Southern Region) repatriated with IOM support from Brak Al-Shati Immigration Detention Center 144 #migrants of Nigerian nationality via Sabha International Airport.

16.12.24 – DCIM Bureau in Bani Walid transferred 2 Bangladeshi and 1 Nigerian #migrants to Tripoli for repatriation.

DCIM with🇵🇰 consular 🇺🇳 IOM support repatriated via Benina Int. Airport in Benghazi 164 #migrants of Pakistani nationality. The group was released from Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center.

16.12.24 – DCIM repatriated from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center 79 #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing. The group included 4 medical cases.

13.12.24 – DCIM transferred from Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center in Benghazi 164 #migrants (Ghana 8, Eritrea 16, Nigeria 135 and Somalia 5) via Sirte to Tripoli for repatriation.

12.12.24 – DCIM repatriated from Tripoli a large number of Egyptian #migrants released from IDCs. The group will be transferred over land and return to Egypt via Emsaed border crossing.

11.12.24 – DCIM with 🇹🇩 consular and 🇺🇳 IOM support repatriated via Mitiga Int. Airport in Tripoli 160 #migrants of Chadian nationality. The group incl. 92 #migrants released from DCIM Immigration Detention Centers.

11.12.24 – DCIM repatriated from Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Center in Benghazi 80 #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing. The group incl. 32 medical and 23 security restrictions cases.
