DCIM repatriates 58 migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border
The Department for Combating Illegal Migration DCIM has repatriated 58 Egyptians.
According to Migrant Rescue Watch “DCIM repatriated from Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar Immigration Detention Center in Shahat 58 #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing. The group included 5 medical cases. ”
DCIM, according to Migrant Rescue Watch also jointly with 20th Infantry Bn. conducted mobile security checks in Benghazi “targeting #migrants and foreign workers for purpose of verifying immigration status and validity of health certificates.
“During operations a number of undocumented #migrants were apprehended and transferred to DCIM custody for legal action.”
” DCIM (Eastern Region) Maj. Gen. Al-Ansari jointly with committee of officers conducted administrative inspection of DCIM branch in Ajdabiya.
“The tour included review of workflow, operational challenges and conditions of #migrants held in IDC.”
