Thirty eight Afghan children found drifting in life rafts in Aegean Sea
Thirty eight children of Afghan nationality have been found drifting in life rafts in the Aegean Sea.
This was disclosed by Aegean Boat Report who regretted that the ugly development is going on unnoticed by most people.
It said; “While an old video of an alleged pushback outside Lesvos seems to be going viral on social media, what is currently taking place in the Aegean Sea seems to be going unnoticed by most. On Wednesday, two days ago, 38 small children were found drifting in life rafts in the Aegean Sea, for some reason, that truly shocking event wasn’t mentioned by anyone. I guess not as important as something that happened years ago.
“38 small children forced into life rafts by the Greek coast guard, left helplessly drifting at sea, and nobody cares, nobody screaming their lungs out on social media, no massive posts, no organization demanding answers and accountability, basically nothing.”
Aegean Boat Report said it’s strange to see that “we choose to care so much about what happened a long time ago, and remain silent and seemingly indifferent on what is happening now.
“The people in the video that went viral is according to the source all safe in Europe, the 38 small children in this new video is most definitely not.
These 38 children are all Afghans, many of them small girls, currently being kept behind bars in a EU funded removal center in Turkey, awaiting deportation to Afghanistan through Iran, funded by European tax payers money.38 small children forced back, probably awaiting a bright future, especially the small girls, under the ruthless Taliban regime.”
