Libyan Coast Security rescues 331 migrants including sub-Saharan women
Libyan Coast Security PV and PB P-32 in different operations recently rescued a total of 331 migrants.
The people rescued are people of different nationalities. They included women of different sub-Saharan nationalities.
Providing details about the rescue operations, Migrant Rescue Watch said: “Libyan Coast Security PV “Wadi Ghan” (P-301) rescued in sep. ops 275 #migrants including women of different nationalities. All disembarked in Tripoli and upon provision of humanitarian assistance were transferred to DCIM custody.
“Libyan Coast Security PB P-32 rescued off the coast of Qarabolli 56 #migrants including women of different sub-Saharan nationalities. All upon disembarkation and provision of basic humanitarian assistance were transferred to DCIM custody.”
Sharing information on another migration issue, Migrant Rescue Watch said “GA Central Support (Ras Lanuf Det.) patrol carried out raid on a farm house in Harawa area and thwarted an attempted boat crossing. During op 9 undocumented #migrants of different nationalities were apprehended. All remain in custody pending referral to DCIM.”
