‘Libya releases human traffickers for Eid al-Adha, keeps victims imprisoned’
A researcher by the name Jihed on X, formerly Twitter, has alleged that the Libyan authorities released human traffickers during the Eid al-Adha celebration while keeping the victims in prison.
Jihed made the allegation in a post on his handle.
He said: “Unbelievable!
The Minister of Defense in Tripoli,#Libya releases human traffickers for Eid al-Adha,while innocent victims—children and minors remain imprisoned in detention centers!
How can you celebrate #Eid while holding thousands in such conditions?
This is hypocrisy.
“What we know about these detention centers is appalling, and much is unknown.
People must pay to get free, facing daily human rights violations. The #European border regime sponsors this border violence.
“Some name of these horrifying Detention Centers:
Ain Zara detention center
42nd Battalion,Ain Zara
Tarik Al-Sikka detention center
Bir al-Ghanam detention center,

Zuwara prison
