Libyan authorities apprehend 11 migrants, others in separate raids

Libyan authorities have apprehend 11 migrants, and innumerable others simply referred to as a group of migrants in separate raids.

Three people were apprehended in one of the raids while eight people were arrested in the second to make up a total of 11people arrested.

Providing a breakdown of the arrests, Migrant Rescue Watch said: “GA Special Task Force apprehended in Ras Ajdir 3 undocumented #migrants of sub-Saharan nationalities who attempted to cross the border to Tunisia illegally. All transferred to DCIM custody in Al-Assah.

“Al-Faydiyah Police Dept. during patrol apprehended 8 undocumented #migrants of different nationalities. All referred to public prosecution for legal action.

“Patrols of 19th Border Guard Brig. with support of units of 52nd Infantry Brig. apprehended in the desert a group of sub-Saharan #migrants who crossed the Libyan-Tunisian border illegally. #migrantcrisis #DontTakeToTheSea #seenotrettung #Frontex.”
