A boat heading to Lesvos had been reportedly forced back into Turkish waters.

This was disclosed by Alarm Phone on its X handle.

“Pushback north of #Lesvos!,” AlarmPhone started in a screaming manner.

During the night, it said “we were alerted to a boat on its way to #Lesvos. The people reported being stopped, hit & forced back into #Turkish waters by @HCoastGuard. The #Turkish coast guard later confirmed to have brought the people back to #Türkiye.

“This marks another attack by #Greek authorities, putting the lives of people at risk. We condemn the violent practice & demand safe passage for all!!”

AlarmPhone had earlier informed about 120 people having challenges on the Atlantic.
“In the Atlantic! We were alerted to a boat with 120 people who left M’bour, in #Senegal 4 days ago. As the weather is bad along this dangerous route, we hope they will be found and rescued soon!,” AlarmPhone said.
