Activists rally against CEAS in Brussels April 10

Over 30 human rights organisations and other civil society actors from all over Europe will hold a rally against Common European Asylum System (CEAS) in the European Parliament on Wednesday April 10, 2024.

Announcing other organizations to join the rally, Seebrüecke International said: “Take to the streets! On the occasion of the final vote on the tightening of the Common European Asylum System (#CEAS) in the European Parliament on 10 April, we are calling for a rally on Place du Luxembourg in Brussels from 3 – 6 pm.

“The protest in front of the European Parliament is being organised by a broad alliance of over 30 human rights organisations and other civil society actors from all over Europe.
We oppose this state violence.

“We oppose the fact that Europe is officially making the detention centres for people seeking protection and the deaths in the Mediterranean part of its identity! We stand together and rebuild what is being destroyed by European governments: an open society based on solidarity!
Join the rally in Brussels and the other protests against the CEAS tightening!”
