UK jails pilot following death of four migrants

Ibrahima Bah, a pilot of a small boat conveying migrants in unseaworthy boat has been jailed for nine years in the UK.

Four migrants reportedly died after the boat drowned.

The UK Home Office disclosed this on its X handle. It said: “The pilot of a small boat has been jailed for nine years and six months after four migrants on his unseaworthy boat drowned.

“Ibrahima Bah was sentenced today for manslaughter.”

The only people who profit from these illegal, dangerous journeys, according to the Home Office are criminal gangs.

The UK Home office also shared information of the Home Secretary, James Cleverly’s visit to the border force officers, saying: “Our Border Force officers work tirelessly to keep our borders safe and secure.

“Today, Home Secretary @JamesCleverly visited the team at Birmingham International Airport to thank them for their work.”
