Sabratha Police arrest suspected human smuggler
A man suspected to be a human smuggler has been arrested by the police in Sabratha.
The suspect, M.A.A, according to Migrant Rescue Watch was wanted on warrant in a human smuggling case by Zawiya Public Prosecutor.
“During execution of warrant suspect’s property that was used as a “safe house” for #migrants was also seized.
“The Office of Security Affairs in Sabratha issued a public warning to all citizens regarding the seriousness and magnitude of penalties provided by law in cases of illegal immigration that can lead, if convicted, to private property seizure.”
