Police operations leave one dead in Mülheim refugee camp
Police operations has left a 26- year-old man dead in a refugee camp in
Mülheim.
Seebrüecke International disclosed this while sharing its thought with family and friends of the deceased.
Seebrüecke International said: “On Sunday night, a 26-year-old man died during a police operation in a refugee camp in #Mülheim. A Taser was used against him twice during the operation. He lost consciousness while being treated in the ambulance and died shortly afterwards in hospital.
“Yet another refugee dies during a police operation. The past shows: We cannot trust that in such cases those who are actually guilty will be prosecuted, especially because all information is based on police statements.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased and with all victims of racist police violence. We demand a thorough and independent investigation into the causes of death and consequences for all those responsible.”
