Tunisia dumps pregnant women, others in Algerian desert

Three pregnant women and other migrants intercepted by Tunisian coast guard have been allegedly dumped in Algerian desert.

Reporting the incident Alarm Phone it was is in contact with a group that was intercepted by the Tunisian coastguard and “afterwards deported to the desert at the border to #Algeria. 3 pregnant women are among them. They need rescue and medical care urgently.”

“Stop deportations into the desert,” Alarm Phone said in protest.

AlarmPhone had earlier made announcement about
40 people in distress north of #Lesvos, Greece!
“We are in contact with a group who say that water is entering the boat & they are afraid it will sink. They report a @HCoastGuard asset on scene but not intervening. Rescue them now & bring them to land!”
