Migrant’s body recovered between Umm Al-Aranib and Majdul
A body of an unidentified migrant has been recovered by Reconnaissance patrols of 676th Infantry in Libya.
Migrant Rescue Watch disclosed this while also providing information about Egyptian nationals repatriated from Shahat Immigration Detention Center.
The organization said: “Reconnaissance patrols of 676th Infantry Bn. found an unidentified body of a dark-skinned person (reportedly #migrant) abandoned on the side of a desert road between Umm Al-Aranib and Majdul. The case was referred to police authorities for further action.
“DCIM repatriated from Shahat Immigration Detention Center 27 migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing. All illegal entry cases.
Migrant Rescue Watch also said that DCIM repatriated from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center 4 migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing. “The group comprised of 1 security and 3 medical cases,” it said, adding: “Police patrols stopped and arrested a Sudanese #migrant driving Toyota pick-up. During control officers found inside the vehicle unregistered firearm (Turkish 9 mm handgun) and a number of passports, health certificates, IDs etc. belonging to 3rd persons. The individual was transferred to Al-Sharaf Police Dept. (Jalu Security Directorate) for legal action.
