Kenyan Coast Guards rescue Tanzanian fishermen

Three Tanzanian fishermen in distress on a Dhow, have been rescued by Kenyan Coast Guards.

They were said to have been pushed by downpour from Pemba to Kenyan waters.

Elated by the feat, the Kenya Coast Guard said: “Incredible teamwork at its best! Appreciation to the #KCGS Personnel and Tiwi Beach Management Unit (BMU) for a successful Search And Rescue (SAR) mission that saved three Tanzanian 🇹🇿 fishermen in distress on a Dhow.

“Inclement weather accompanied by heavy rains pushed them from Pemba to Kenyan waters. All in stable medical condition after receiving Medical Attention.

before putting to sea.”
