Libyan boarder guard chief, IOM top official meet
Chief of Libyan Border Guard Col. Mohamed Al-Marhani and departmental heads today held a joint meeting with IOM Coordination Officer responsible for Border Management and Search and Rescue projects, a statement by Migrant Rescue Watch said.
During meeting, the statement said aspects of cooperation and joint coordination between the two sides related to border security and management were discussed.
Migrant Rescue Watch had earlier said that a group of Libyan Border Guard (MoD) staff completed successfully, course in the field of anti-human trafficking. The course was held at CoESPU in Vicenza, Italy and is a part of cooperation program agreed on by Libyan-Italian Military Committee.”
