Canada’s govt supports NAPTIP’s workshop
The Government of Canada in Nigeria has supported a two-day work workshop for Public Relations Officers and Public Enlightenment Officers of National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
The DG NAPTIP @fatwaz16 , yesterday, Wednesday 18th October 2023, declared open the workshop holding in Lagos.
A statement by the NAPTIP, reads: “The workshop is supported by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada through
the Government of Canada in Nigeria, and implemented by the Ark Group DMCC.
Speaking shortly before declaring the workshop open, the DG reminded the participants of the importance of Effective and Strategic Communication which are vital tools in the fight against TIP.

Over 60 participants made up of PRO and PE Officers drawn from all the Commands as well as Liaison Offices of the Agency across the country are currently attending the workshop.”
