Sea-Eye rescues 114 people in three operations

114 distressed people have been rescued on international waters by Sea-Eye4.

The survivors were said to have been left without water and at the mercy of vagaries of whether conditions .

Sea –Eye is a German organization with the mission to engage in “Sea rescue on the deadliest escape route in the world.”

Sharing information about the rescue, the organization said: “The crew of the #SEAEYE4 was able to rescue 114 people in three rescues in the last 72 hours. The first rescue took place in the pitch black night, the second yesterday afternoon. When our crew arrived at the third distress call, four people were unconscious.

“According to the survivors, one person had not been responsive for more than a day.The people were at the mercy of the sea and sun for several days without any protection. Dehydration, heat and untreated previous illnesses such as diabetes can quickly lead to a life-threatening situation.”
