Three Nigerian migrants die of thirst in desert
The number of Nigerians dying in Tunisian and other neighbouring country’s deserts has continued to rise.
Two days ago, three migrants of Nigerian nationality were reported to have died in the desert.
They were said to have died of thirst after being kept under scorching sun for four days in the desert.
Alarme Phone Sahara broke the news after receiving information from their comrades.
We had earlier reported that a Nigerian man lost his wife and child in the desert last week.
Alarme Phone Sahara announced the demise of the Nigerians thus: “#Rescue in the #Kaouar region. On Sunday, 23 July, our comrades were informed that a transporter had brought 22 migrants from #Nigeria (including 2 women) to leave them in the middle of the #desert 30km from #Séguédine. They spent 4 days in the sun. 3 people died of thirst.”
