Sad tales from Tunisia

Reports about the predicaments of  refugees in Tunisia are increasingly getting worse on a daily basis. 

They were expelled from their homes and are being deported to the desert.

Many of them have been  left without food and water.

One of them who was sick had earlier died as a result of not getting any help.

Refugees in Tunisia, tweeting via its verified Twitter handle @RefugeesTunisia shared the plights of the refugees in a series of tweets below. 

“We received many testimonies from immigrants due to the lack of communication with their relatives during their deportation, except to the desert. Who is responsible for these crimes.

“Many priests have asked about the inhumane situation of migrants and refugees in Tunisia. We will not forget and we will not forgive. 

“They have nowhere to hide from the scorching sun, whether trees. This is how many migrants and refugees spend their day in Sfax after most of them were expelled from their homes.

“Today, one of the immigrants who was sitting in front of the International Immigration headquarters, IOM Tunisia, died today. He was sick and did not receive the necessary treatment. We are slowly dying in this country.”
