🆘~115 people were reported to be in distress on a sailing boat off #Methoni, Peloponnese, Greece.

Alarm Phone in a post said: “They told us that some on board are unconscious. They left from TĂŒrkiye Saturday morning & fear for their lives due to high waves. They are desperately asking for help. @HCoastGuard is alerted.

Yesterday at 22:10h, @HCoastGuard told us on the phone that they were in direct contact with the people & would launch a rescue operation. The distressed confirmed contact to @HCoastGuard. At 23:47, the people were still waiting for rescue.

They said: “The wind is very bad, the boat is going from left to right. I am afraid we will fall.” Shortly after midnight, we lost contact to the group. @HCoastGuard refuses to share any information. Where are they?

Is a #pushback in the making right now? @HCoastGuard claimed their ‘investigation’ ended with ‘negative results’. This is alarming, as they often said this in the past when preparing or carrying out illegal #pushbacks!

Another illegal #pushback by @HCoastGuard! The people told us they are back in #TĂŒrkiye, over 524km away from their last location! They report being kidnapped by @HCoastGuard & left adrift in life rafts. Another attack against people’s lives & rights backed & financed by the #EU.
