Libyan Red Crescent recovers unidentified immigrants’ bodies
Libyan Red Crescent has recovered unidentified immigrants’ bodies in different parts of the country.
The bodies were recovered from the Misrata, Tripoli and Khums branches, according to information obtained from Migrant Rescue X handles.
According to the information, on 14.04.26 – Libyan Red Crescent (Misrata Branch) in response to Coast Guard report recovered an unidentified body of #migrant trapped among the rocks near Azriq harbour. The body was transferred to local authorities for completion of procedures.
“On 11.04.26 – Libyan Red Crescent (Tripoli Branch) recovered an unidentified body of #migrant washed ashore in Tajoura area. The body was transferred by Ambulance and Emergency Services to hospital mortuary for completion of procedures.
“On 08.04.26 – Libyan Red Crescent (Al-Khums Branch) jointly with police recovered 1 unidentified body of #migrant washed ashore in Ghanima area. The body was transferred to local authorities for completion of procedures.
