Libyan Coast Guard rescues 107 migrants including children
One hundred and seven migrants have been rescued by the Libyan Coast Guard rescues 107 migrants in different Search and Rescue operations.
According to Migration Rescue Watch Libyan Coast Guard (Gen Cmd.) on March 5, rescued from a drifting boat off the coast of Tobruk 30 #migrants including 7 females and 6 children of Sudanese nationality. “All upon disembarkation in Tobruk Naval Base transferred to DCIM.
On March 03, Migration Rescue Watch
said the Libyan Coast Guard (Gen Cmd.) rescued from a dilapidated rubber boat off the coast of Tobruk 36 of different nationalities. All disembarked in Tobruk Naval Base and were handed over to DCIM.
In another post the same day, Migration Rescue Watch said the Libyan Coast Guard (Gen.Cmd.) rescued off the coast of Kambut 41 #migrants of different nationalities. All disembarked in Tobruk Naval Base and upon provision of humanitarian assistance were handed over to DCIM
Continuing, it said, On March 2 SAR operation, the Libyan Coast Guard (Gen.Cmd.) interdicted 3 rubber boats north of Tobruk with a total of 116 #migrants of different nationalities. All disembarked in Tobruk Naval Base.
“All upon disembarkation were provided with humanitarian and medical assistance by Libyan Red Crescent (Tobruk Branch).Again, the Libyan Coast Guard (Gen.Cmd.) PB “Azriq” interdicted a boat 45 nm off the coast of Tobruk with 67 #migrants of Bangladeshi and Sudanese nationalities.All disembarked in Tobruk Naval Base and and upon provision of humanitarian assistance were handed over to DCIM.
