DCIM repatriates 169 Nigerians, 164 others
The Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM) Libya, has repatriated a total of 169 Nigerians and 164 migrants of different nationalities.
The Nigerians were repatriated in two batches of 146 and 23.
According to Migrant Rescue Watch, the “DCIM (Southern Region) repatriated with IOM support 146 #migrants of Nigerian nationality via Sabha International Airport.
On March 2, 26 Migrant Rescue Watch said- “DCIM with IOM support repatriated from East Tripoli Immigration Detention Center in Tajoura 23 #migrants of Nigerian nationality via Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli.”
About the same time, it said the DCIM had repatriated/transferred from Tobruk IDC 164 #migrants in 2 groups. “The 1st group of Egyptian #migrants were repatriated via Emsaed land border crossing.
“The 2nd group comprising of Bangladeshi, Eritrean, Ethiopian, Pakistani, Somali & Sudanese #migrants was transferred to Ganfoudah IDC in Benghazi for repatriation.”
