Tunisian National Guard’s teargas kills Gambian refugee in Sfax
A Gambian refugee has reportedly died in Sfax, Tunisia. He died on Monday, June 3, 2025.
Refugees In Tunisia and Refugees In Libya announced the unfortunate incident said to have been caused by teargas fired by Tunisian National Guard.
Regrettably announcing the Gambian’s death, Refugees In Tunisia said: “Td (today) we lost our comrade, Gambian by nationality he was suffocated by tear gas that was shot by Tunisian police. We keep on loosing families friends by European Union and Italy hurt migration policies with Tunisia. How long these shitty things will stop where everyone will live not to be sanctions base on skin color???”

Refugees In Libya said: “It is with sadness that we learn of the death of this Gambian at Kilometer 21, on the side of the paved road, Mahdia route, yesterday, Monday, June 2.
His family is being sought.Our deepest condolences.May his soul rest in peace.
He lost his life due to tear gas fired by the Tunisian National Guard.The Tunisian National Guard has caused numerous victims with complete impunity.”
