Co- founder of Refugees IN Libya David Yambio, has condemned poor treatment of Black Africans in Tunisia

Yambio accused IOM, UNHCR, EU, Frontex, and others of being  complicit in the ungodly act.

He said: “ Today over 400 women and their children, and 100 men marched to protest in El-Amra olive groves against ill treatment.

I am not proud because these people have the courage to speak up—I am proud because I too have walked in their shoes, not long ago.”

Yambio regretted that what is happening to Black migrants in Tunisia is cruel and inhumane, adding that “women are raped by the National Guard. Children are starved. The sick are left to suffer because they cannot access hospitals. Armed citizen militias shoot and kill with impunity.

“Water and other basic needs are cut off deliberately. Those who are captured are dumped in the desert, where many die in silence. The IOM, UNHCR, the EU, Frontex, all of them are complicit. It is disgusting.”
