DCIM repatriates Bangladeshis,  Ghanaians, Nigerians,  Sudanese  via Benina Int. Airport

The Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM)in Libya, has repatriated 21 Bangladeshis,  6 Ghanaians, 2 Nigerians  and 2 Sudanese  via Benina Int. Airport

Migrant Rescue Watch disclosed this on its verified X handle.

It said “DCIM repatriated from Benghazi in separate procedures 31 #migrants (Bangladesh 21, Ghana 6, Nigeria 2 and Sudan 2) via Benina Int. Airport.”

On March 1, 2025, Migrant Rescue Watch posted that the  DCIM repatriated from Tobruk Immigration Detention Center 48 #migrants of Egyptian nationality via Emsaed land border crossing.

Late last month Migrant Rescue Watch announced that  the  DCIM (Southeastern Branch) carried our raid on a location in Kufra used by human traffickers as a secret prison for detention of #migrants. During op 3 human traffickers of foreign nationalities were arrested and cache of weapons seized.

“Following an interrogation the traffickers revealed information about another location used for the same purpose which led to arrest of a 4th accomplice of foreign nationality & identification of property owners (3 Libyan suspects). The investigation is still ongoing.”
